Michael Sherwin Harris Browne was born and raised in Sea View Farm. He is committed to helping the residents of All Saints West, and all Antigua and Barbuda, through his focus on education, training, exposure, and connecting people with access to opportunities. Browne greatly values personal and professional productivity, performance, discipline, and accountability.

Academically, Mr. Browne completed a dual Bachelor’s Degree at The University of the West Indies, Mona. On graduating from UWI, he postponed further studies to return home to assist his mother. He later pursued graduate studies in the Science of Teaching, and Education Administration and Supervision, at Pace University and then International Educational Development at Teachers College Columbia University. Currently, he is working on completing a Doctorate in Education Leadership and Policy, and a Juris Doctorate of Laws at Howard University.

A sampling of Mr. Browne’s professional experiences include working as a senior subeditor at the AntiguaSUN and then the Observer Newspapers, and a public relations manager at Ribbit, and then at Sandals Resort and Spa. He taught at the Princess Margaret Secondary School. In the largest school district in the United States, he also taught and held positions as a senior educational administrator at the middle, secondary, and tertiary levels of schooling. Browne was also a co-mediator with the District of Columbia Courts and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Mr. Browne is certainly community focused. He founded an Etiquette and Modeling Club at Princess Margaret Secondary to help students develop leadership skills by bridging the science of aesthetic and academic prowess to fuel personal development.

It is this reservoir of scholastic, professional training and experience, and community-focused involvement that Mr. Browne is equipped with to represent, and deliver for Constituents as All Saints West new Member of Parliament.
